A newsletter, e-newsletter, or ezine provides regular opportunities to bring your business to mind for customers or clients. The articles offer helpful tips to your clients or customers, keep them up to date with new products and services, and demonstrate your knowledge of and expertise in your field or industry.
In addition, customers or clients are likely to save issues with particularly informative articles and even share them with potential new clients or customers.
You can send short newsletters on a weekly basis, send longer ones on a bimonthly or monthly basis, or host an ezine on your website with a new edition every month. Because of the diversity of lengths, publication schedules, the number of articles required, and resulting amounts of required research, standard copywriting fees for newsletters and ezines range from $500 to $1,500.
You are entitled to two revisions of each issue, but the revisions must fall within the scope of the work as described in the original contract.
🛑 For fixed-price contracts, half of the payment is due in advance with the remainder due upon completion of the work. If the contract is canceled for any reason after work has begun, the initial advance payment will be treated as a non-refundable deposit known as a kill fee.
